Research goals:

NONA lab conducts all stages of the research, from the rational design and synthesis, through basic characterization of optical properties, morphology and structure of materials, up to advanced spectroscopy and microscopy performed on home-made optical set-ups.

• Autofluorescence and other properties of amyloid fibrils

• Nanoclusters design, synthesis and functionalization

• Chiral gold nanostructures: new materials & new characterisation methods

• New fluorescent markers for amyloids imaging
