Chiral gold nanostructures: new materials & new characterisation methods

toc_v1.pngWe are specialized in preparation of chiral gold nanostructures with both plasmonic nanoparticles and ultra-small gold nanoclusters or chiral assemblies of such nanoparticles. To determine their optical properties we are using advanced spectroscopic and microscopic methods like Chiral Dark Field Microscopy, Circularly Polarized Luminescence Microscopy, but also unique techniques to characterize nonlinear chiroptical properties, such as Two Photon Fluorescence Detected Circular Dichroism, Chiral Z-scan.
