We are looking for a PhD student in a project on Atomically precise gold nanoclusters as new probes in single photon and multiphoton imaging. If you have a background in spectroscopy of nanomaterials, optics and/or synthesis of nanomaterials our group is a place for you!

We offer:

- NCN scholarship 3025 PLN/per month

- Duration of the scholarship: 8 months

- Start of the scholarship: 01/11/2024

Research tasks:

1. Synthesis of monodispersed gold NCs of various sizes.

2. Spectroscopic investigation of linear and nonlinear optical properties of nanoclusters.

3. Analysis of microscopic and spectroscopic data

4. Preparation of reports and publications

Requirements for applicants:

- doctoral student of Doctoral School in the discipline of chemical 

sciences, materials engineering, physical sciences

- beneficial is previous experience in the synthesis and

spectroscopic or microscopic characterization of nanoparticles

- willingness and motivation for scientific work;

- aptitude for experimental research work;

- ability to learn and assimilate knowledge quickly;

ability to work in a team;

- proficiency in written and spoken English (B2);

- computer literacy, knowledge of MS Office and scientific

programs used to analyze research results;
